Legend has it that a knight walking with his beloved along a riverbank stooped to gather a bouquet of tiny blue flowers. Swept away by the current, he tossed the blossoms to her and called out, “Forget me not!” Ever since, the forget-me-not has been a flower of true love and faithful remembrance.
This collar gathers that bouquet into a garland. Sculpted forget-me-nots bloom along three linked scallops of delicate golden beads, rising and dipping like a daisy chain woven on a summer afternoon. A natural tanzanite twinkles at each end, and at the center a pear-shaped tanzanite hangs like a drop of twilight, echoing the blue of the flower itself.
Tanzanite, mined only in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, glows violet-blue and is cherished as a stone of new beginnings and devotion. Together they make a tender anniversary gift, a remembrance gift for someone you hold dear, or a December birthday treasure.

Designed by American artist Lori Strickland, cast in 14K yellow gold by the traditional lost wax method in our Florida studio, finished by hand, and hung on an 18-inch 14K yellow gold chain. Accompanied by an artist bio card.
