Imagine the swing of a beaded flapper dress and the gleam of a ballroom chandelier on a Saturday night in 1928. Jazz Age earrings were made to move, catching the light with every laugh and every turn on the dance floor. The Marquise Deco Earrings bring back that sense of motion and celebration.

Each earring falls from a slim, pointed fleur-style top into a geometric frame of fine gold lattice, fanned at the sides like an elegant Deco window. At the center, a marquise-cut natural Madeira citrine sits in a rich, honey-to-cognac glow, long and tapered like a candle flame.

The marquise shape is said to have been named for the smile of a French marquise, a nod to romance and courtly charm. That makes these drop earrings a lovely gift for her: an anniversary gift for your wife, a thank-you for a bridesmaid, or a treat for anyone who adores vintage-style Art Deco earrings. Pair them with the matching Marquise Deco Necklace.

Stones: two natural marquise Madeira citrines.

Findings: 14K yellow gold lever backs.
